Nouvelle developers allow the coloring cream to perform the following actions:

COLORING ACTION: when the coloring substances come in contact with oxygen, they oxidize
and create color.

LIGHTENING ACTION: the MEA contained in the hair color acts as the catalyst for the hydrogen
peroxide. Upon contact with MEA, THE OXIDANT CREAM quickly releases its oxygen atoms that
then act on the natural melanin of the hair, lightening it.
