Travers Island

Located on 33 idyllic acres beside the Long Island Sound, Travers Island is
the NYAC’s home in Westchester County. Open almost year round, Travers
Island offers swimming, boating and tennis along with casual and fine dining,
all of which ensure that one visit is never enough.

Facilities

Dining
Travers Island offers exquisite dining on the Patio Terrace and in the Cocktail
Lounge and Shore 31. For casual dining, few locations are more inviting than
the snack bar adjacent to the Tennis House or the Past Presidents Room. You
can also dine on the Patio, alongside the outdoor swimming pool or at the
always fun Tiki Bar. Shore 31, Travers Island’s most recently renovated formal
dining space offers the finest seafood with both indoor and al fresco dining
options.

Field House
The Travers Island Field House represents the next phase in the NYAC’s
commitment to athletic excellence. With 13,000 square feet of beautifully
designed exercise space features personal training, fitness classes, children’s
programs, massage services, comfortable lockers rooms and much more.

Special Events
NYAC members have access to some of the finest banquet and catering
facilities in New York. Host your next event along the water with stunning
views that will entrance you and your guests. Our facilities can accommodate a
wide variety of events from small formal dinners to large company outings and
even weddings. We have menu packages for breakfast, brunch, lunch, cocktail
receptions, dinner or we can create a custom menu with you.
