Keeping Fit with the Zip by Fitbit
Starting a new exercise routine is not a
problem for me, but I always have difficulty
sticking to one. However, things have changed
ever since I got my Zip by Fitbit. The Zip is
a small device that measures the number of
steps you take every day. It also measures your
distance and the number of calories that you
burn. It really encourages you to be active.
Exercising becomes more fun!
One great thing about the Zip is its small
size. Also, it’s very easy to clip on. Knowing
that it is measuring your steps encourages you
to get out of your chair more often. With your
Zip on, you will probably decide to walk or take the stairs instead of driving or taking the elevator.
Another great aspect of Zip is that it is easy to connect to your smartphone or computer, so
you can share your goals and progress with others. It challenges you to try to take the most steps
and burn the most calories. I convinced my brother to get a Zip a few months ago, and now we are
competing with each other. I am determined to beat him; sometimes, I go for long walks at night
in order to get a higher score. The competition is fun, but more important is my achievement: I’ve
started to exercise regularly, and I feel great.
