No October drive due to the Annual Car show this
year. And what a show it was.
It started with Pre-show dinner at JD?s the night
before where some 55 people showed up for BBQ
and delicious member prepared sides and We're Growing
desserts. People got so caught up in the delightful
conversation that many, including me, lost track of Welcome t o Our
time until Chip brought us back to the reality that Newest Members

successful event, to Ken, Chip and Barb for coaching the new leadership along,
and to everyone who helped with Awards (Chip), Sponsors (Chip and Len), Door
Prizes (JD and Ken G), Set-up (Russ, Ken, Chip, Barb, Barry), Parking and traffic
control (Russ, Bill, Paul, Barry), Registration (Todd and JD), Vote tallying (JD and
crew), food truck coordination (Len), and Clean-up (Everyone). See the details of
the Car Show later in this edition of the newsletter.
Movin?on up! One of our most dedicated and longtime members will be leaving
the club in November. Andy Adams, who has been keeping the club website up
and running for years, has decided to take his wife, (and his 1962 Triumph TR-4)
and move out west to be with his loving family. I'm sure the first thing he'll do is
find the local British Car club and climb aboard. Andy, you'll be dearly missed,
and I thank you for putting up with my constant requests to add new content to
the NBCC website. You are a treasure, and we all wish you the best in your new
chapter. Keep in touch my friend. See the details of Andy?s story later in the
newsletter.
Club Dinners: If you'd like to volunteer to host the dinne in December, please
let me know at NashvilleBritishCarClub@gmail.com. We can do this all year
round, even when the weather is too cold for club drives. Let?s keep it going!
That's all for now folks. Stay safe. Have fun and keep?em on the road.
Cheers,
Todd
