【十二夜】導演 RAYE X TSPCA X 台灣動物新聞網 直播 LIVE BROADCAST: MOVIE DIRECTOR OF “TWELVE NIGHTS”– RAYE X TSPCA X TA NEWS
〈十二夜〉電影引起社會大眾對於公立收容所的注目， 也間接促成了零撲殺的法案。對於導演Raye而言，憂喜參 半，除了擔心政府、民眾還沒有準備好，更憂心少數收容 所沒跟上時代的腳步，福利嚴重不足。因此Raye特別邀請 了Taiwan SPCA的研究專員與台灣動物新聞網的記者，並 call out台灣之心執行長，一同與觀眾聊聊零撲殺下的公立 收容所現況。 直播中我們分享走訪全台收容所時最有印象 的事情:所長最guts的為基隆動保防疫所所長。全台福利 最佳收容所由台中市獲得。破舊但十分溫馨的收容所位在 嘉義市。資源少卻最努力的縣市為台東縣。六都中配套措 施墊底的為桃園市及高雄市。此外，TSPCA於2016.11評屏 東縣及澎湖縣為最差收容所，在民間監督及政府重視下， 已開始逐漸改善，我們也會持續追蹤。
The movie – “Twelve nights” was a huge success when it was released and it created a lot of public discussion on the topic of animal shelters. But director Raye felt there was still a lot of work to do after the movie thus she invited the Taiwan
SPCA and TANews to share more information about the current situation of animal shelters and euthanasia through a live broadcast on FB. We shared with viewers some of our experiences while visiting 33 shelters across Taiwan, such as: how the Director of the Keelung Animal Protection and Healthy Inspection Of ce had the most advanced views on animal welfare, how Taichung City’s animal shelter was considered to be better than most, how Chiayi City’s animal shelter was considered pretty well run considering their low funding, and how the least funded Taitung County shelter was better than we expected. Out of the 6 major cities in Taiwan, Taoyuan City and Kaohsiung City implemented the least amount of supporting measures for the new zero-euthanasia policy. According to our research and in comparison to other shelters, Pingtung County and Penghu County had the worst run shelters in the country. The TSPCA will continue to monitor their progress.
