來了協會兩個月，認識了一隻名叫雞旦的狗。還 是隻年輕的、不到一歲的小女生。據說曾經被車 撞過兩次，後肢曾經近乎癱瘓。現在仍瘦得肋骨 歷歷可數。每天用力地轉換心情，常常沒來由地 對人吠叫，吠叫同時則無法控制肌肉地噴灑屎尿( 情況愈來愈好了)，不過也有安靜地用著美麗純淨 的琥珀色眼眸靜望著，帶著有點不安、有點歉意 願意給摸摸的時刻(然後可能下一秒又跟看到敵人 一樣狂喊)。看到食物認真地想吃，吃不到就發狂 似地吼叫。但即使如此愛吃，也在好一段時間後 才增重了0.6公斤。儘管身上留著微微的酸臭味， 儘管後半身的毛被剃短後還在慢慢地長回來，儘 管瘦得還是令人有些心驚。儘管還是要吃藥回 診。但每天還是驕縱任性如公主，一位經歷苦難 後努力地活下去的公主，一位不知道自己曾經經 歷苦難也不知道自己的幸運與不幸的公主。在這 塊土地上的動物，總是避免不了許多的苦難。在 這裡，能夠每天看到動物所受的苦難少一點，撫 慰多一點，這就是一個好地方。
In the last two months working at the TSPCA, I got to know a puppy called Eggy (雞旦) very well. She is a puppy barely 1 year old, but I was told, she had survived being hit twice by cars. Her hind legs were almost paralyzed from the accident but has since recovered however, she is still very thin and unable to properly gain weight. She barks for no reason at strangers and it is accompanied with uncontrollable urination (it is getting better now). When she sees her favorite foods, she darts over and eats with a lot of devotion but she gets upset and barks if other dogs are fed before her. Even though she eats a lot, she still only put on 0.6 kg in the last couple months. She smells like cheese, her hair is growing back slowly where she had surgery, she is still thin, and she still regularly takes medicine and visits the vet every week. She is a stubborn but cute little princess, one that survived the odds, and one that doesn´t know what she has been through. For animals living on this land, there is much suffering, but here at the TSPCA, they nd sanctuary, they nd a bit more comfort, it is a good place.
