STEP 3
To reinforce knowledge, the teacher makes students play a board-race game in two groups.
The game consists on joining sentences to form the past perfect as in the examples given.
The teacher shows in the television the sentences, one member of the group is going to read
and join the sentences to form the past perfect. The group with the most correct written
sentences wins.
• I went to bed. Before that I watched a documentary on TV.
• I left the house. Before that I had my breakfast.
