GRACE, Exploring Its Riches

“If anyone sins deliberately by rejecting the
Savior after knowing the truth of forgiveness, this
sin is not covered by Christ’s death; there is no
way to get rid of it.”

We see here the danger of attaching the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ with licentious behaviour and sin. It must be
understood that grace can electrify as it can electrocute.
There is rarely anything, person, authority, or element with
tremendous power or ability which lacks the capacity for
both good and danger. Grace is like that too. When grace is
misapplied it can cause danger. That’s when what was
meant to help and bring benefit becomes dangerous and
                               destructive.

Today’s church has not done enough to show the recipients
of grace, Christians, that grace is not all easy talk, smooth
ride, and sweet sensation; that is an unbalanced perspective
of God and His grace. No natural father permanently
depicts only his good, easy-to-get-along side to his
children. One way or the other his children get to know
that there is a side of daddy that must not be stirred up.
Often, natural things underscore spiritual realities.
Christians must know that grace is awesome, but can also
be dangerous. I see that side of God in Galatians 2:17-21.

“But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we
ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ
therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not! For if I
build again those things which I destroyed, I
