GRACE, Exploring Its Riches
These are not the words of a man beating about the bush
what his preoccupation in life is. Paul knew his divine
mandate; and it is to his credit that he eventually
accomplished his destiny and divine mandate. At last he
could say in 2 Timothy 4:6-8,
“For I am already being poured out as a drink
offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I
have fought the good fight, I have finished the
race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up
for me the crown of righteousness, which the
Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that
Day, and not to me only but also to all who have
loved His appearing.”
May we all, like Paul, fulfil our destinies in Jesus’ mighty
name. Amen!
No Destiny without Grace
It must sound like an aberration to think of grace without a
destiny to fulfil. However, we have seen people whose
lives were in danger because of ill health; but as they came
before anointed ministers of the gospel they received
impartation of grace for healing, deliverance and were
granted long life. But what is the benefit of living long and
aborting destiny? One story that well illustrates this
aberration is the story of Hezekiah in 2 Kings Chapters 20-
21, and 2 Chronicles Chapters 29-33.
