The Ultimate Expression of Grace

3. Grace for Securing Eternity
Whatever your exploits on earth the grace of God you have
received must get you to heaven. This should be your
passionate pursuit in this life, to do those things that would
bring you eternal reckoning in the sight of your Maker. At
no point should we allow ourselves to get carried away or
distracted by things and opportunities in the world that can
truncate our relevance in the sight of God in eternity.

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has
appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
looking for the blessed hope and glorious
appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus
Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might
redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for
Himself His own special people, zealous for good
works” (Titus 2:11-14).

There are certain things to be given clarity in the light of our
eternal relevance in this passage:
i. Grace brings eternal salvation to every man.
ii. Grace teaches us how to live above the standards and
ways of this world.
iii. Grace teaches us how to be eternally relevant in this
present perverted world.
