GRACE, Exploring Its Riches
If we wait on the Lord with a right heart we will get the
benefit of His superior perspective and be rewarded with
His grace. Waiting on the Lord may be with food or without
food; what is important is that time is given to seek God
until He shows forth by declaring His counsel on the
matter at hand.
Grace Station 4: Anointed Atmospheres
An anointed atmosphere refers to an environment where
spiritual price has been paid to stir up and bring forth the
presence of God. It could be in a desert, as with John the
Baptist, or in a church service, or a room in a house that has
been dedicated to deep divine communion – a place where
people, individually or corporately, have paid the price in
prayer, or waiting on the Lord, to attract God’s presence.
What brings the presence of God, oftentimes, is not the
material investments of air conditioning, expensive
furniture or upscale location. It is the spiritual investments
made by the people involved. The Holy Scriptures give us
some examples:
“However, the report went around concerning
Him all the more; and great multitudes came
together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their
infirmities. So He Himself often withdrew into
the wilderness and prayed. Now it happened on a
certain day, as He was teaching, that there were
Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who
