Crop Husbandry

DURATION: year or 2 semeste

The one-year Certificate in Crop Husbandry programme is
designed for individuals who are interested in the commercial

production of vegetables, root crops, cash crops or tree crops.
Participants are provided with practical and theoretical training in

land preparation, planting, cultural practices, fertiliser use,
harvesting and marketing of all the major crops grown in the
Caribbean.

Students participate in a period of industrial attachment during
this programme.

In addition, related courses: Communication Skills and Work
Ethics, provide students with the training required to function as

skilled workers or to manage their own farms.
