Wandering south east through the bazaar leads you gradually out of the commercial corridors and into the old

alleyways of the neighborhood of Oudlajan. Historically an area with a large Jewish population, today the neigh-
borhood is one of the city’s oldest and is dotted with architectural treasures most Iranians from outside the neigh-
borhood have no idea exist!
