Small groups of teacher~researchers assembled and arranged the images in ways that were pleasing to them.
Pairs of images were often formed on the basis of colour and pattern. Liking the ‘disrupters’, they found a way to
fit them into their arrangements. The process of arranging sustained teacher~researchers and supported them as
they became more aware of qualities and patterns within and across their trees. The more they arranged and
re-arranged the images, the more they noticed - not only about the trees, but about other things, phenomena,
themselves and each other.
