need to provide support to the trainees. The evaluation results should be communicated to the trainers and presented to the management. The ATP shall develop an action plan for improvement of trainers which scored below the acceptable rate.
2.1.6 Area 6: Programme Design and Delivery
A curriculum defines the body of knowledge and the area of specialisation. The dynamism of the approved training provider (ATP) is reflected by it keeping abreast with the latest development in the various disciplines within the construction industry through an effective relationship between curriculum content and current practices in these disciplines, as well as by it taking into consideration the current needs of the construction industry.
i. Curriculum Design and Training Method
The ATP shall develop a clear and defined process to establish, review and evaluate the curriculum. All training programmes must be considered only after their needs assessment have indicated that there is a need for them to be conducted. All training programmes must be considered only after the resources to support them have been identified.
