Be open to new ideas and new experiences as they will concretize the knowledge that you have gained
in the classroom. Be ready to challenge and push yourselves harder, and always aim higher because in
doing so, you stand a greater chance of being successful. I so much agree with David Frost who said,
“Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.”
Success is not a strange word to any of you nor is it elusive. But the great foundation upon which it is
built or achieved is what you must, day and night, strive to hold together in every endeavour of yours
as you step out of your school and in pursuit of a future that here on, will have little or no input from us.
A graduating student once said, “A good teacher explains, a superior teacher demonstrates and a great
teacher inspires.” It is my hope that we have truly inspired you, our graduating class of 2019, to
confidently step out and conquer whatever challenges that lie ahead of you as real ambassadors of
your great alma mater.
I am very grateful to your parents for the support they gave us in turning their boys and girls into the
sound ladies and gentlemen you have now become. I am similarly and profoundly grateful to the
management and staff of this school for their commitment in raising these children the best possible
way any parent would desire. My greatest thanks go to God Almighty who has made this herculean
task seem so simple and common. His favours, I pray, shall continue to abide with each and every
family here, this day and always in Jesus' name.
I thank you all and wish you journey mercies back to your respective families and destinations. And to
the class of 2019, may the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the sweet fellowship of
the Holy Spirit guide, direct and watch over you this day and always.
