             OFFICE OF DISCIPLINE MADE IT
             THE VICE-PRINCIPAL
             ADMIN

t becomes imperative for me to re-emphasise the
concept of discipline in our great school, having
Iseen much as the Vice-Principal Administration and
the chairman of both the Staff Disciplinary Committee
and the Students' Disciplinary Committee. Discipline
takes the core part of our daily routine, day-in and day-
out. This invariably has been the stimulus and impetus
which has lifted us higher to achieve all the laurels we
have achieved till date – DISCIPLINE MADE IT.

               Succinctly put by Merriam-Webster Dictionary,
“Discipline is the control that is gained by requiring that
rules or orders be obeyed and punishing bad behaviour
or a way of behaving that shows a willingness to obey
rules or orders or a behaviour that is judged by how well
it follows a set of rules or orders.”

Our staff handbook and students' code of conduct
booklet are filled with the set of rules or orders to be
obeyed, punishment for not obeying these set of rules or
orders and positive rewards for obeying them.

As a reputable school, every member of staff as well as
the prefects' council is practically involved in the execution of this set of rules daily. Every child has a
copy of the students' code of conduct booklet, which is sent home for our esteemed parents to be
acquainted with, endorse, keep a copy of
the agreement page and send back the
other copy to the school. This has been Thus, we enjoin all our parents to assist in
our practice, so as to ensure that our enforcing discipline and to support the
parents are carried along. Our parents school in her ZERO-TOLERANCE TO
are really cooperating with us having ALL FORMS OF INDISCIPLINE, for
been involved in the discipline of our it will make our children to be men and
children. For this, we appreciate them women of INTEGRITY in their chosen
immensely! Being a family, we equally careers, and we as a school, the society
appeal to our parents to call us should and the world at large will be better for it,
any of our children be found not to be as DISCIPLINE would have MADE IT.
upholding what we have imparted to
them, because we don't just teach, we
give total education for life in all
ramifications of the child's life within and outside the four walls of the school. With this collective
impute by all stakeholders, the sky has always been the beginning of excellence in our treasured
               school.

In our resolve to ensure that each child executes the tenets in the students' code of conduct booklet, our
slogan has been DO NOT REACT, BUT REPORT in the face of excesses or any of their peers
becoming unruly towards them. Every report is treated seriously and always referred to the Students'
Disciplinary Committee so that every child is given a fair hearing, and appropriate punishment as
outlined in the students' code of conduct is meted to any student that is culpable. The parents of such a
child are notified or invited to the school to discuss with the management, while the Guidance
