Primary School teaching in the 21 century is quite
challenging but all efforts become rewarding when the

compete with their counterparts in the larger world)
               4. Pupils with adventurous mindset (ready to take on
                   challenges and solve problems)

To achieve these goals, a good teacher should possess these
            qualities:
                  a. Passion: Teach and encourage learning with great
                      passion and enthusiasm.

Teachers should not rely on their residual knowledge. Lessons should be planned in such a
way that even the abstract lessons are made real in class. It should also be related to the
outside world. He / she should do research on the information they intend to share with
learners to ensure that they conform to the current realities. A good teacher should
upgrade himself /herself with these 21st century skills (4C+4C = THE 8Cs) and impart them
            to his / her learners.

communicating with learners. They should be able to guide their learners to learn
how to listen and communicate effectively as well as use technology and social
                      media to communicate effectively.
