As with any road trip, one needs to plan with the end destination in mind. In Chapter
               2, we start at a theoretical marker. We define the “being” of a thought leader, what it

               means to be considered one as well the characteristics of a true thought leader. The

               initial discussion focusses on the general thought leadership concept but then delves
               into the contextual thought leader within the education space: teacher leader.

               Chapter 3 elaborates on a critical founding block for a teacher leader – the creation
               of a personal teaching philosophy (PTP). A PTP is developed based on your belief of

               how learning happens.


               A thought leader is a teacher in all respects, and learning theories should underpin

               your approach. In Chapter 4, we board the “how-to” train. Remember though… you
               cannot call yourself a thought leader – a thought leader title is earned, not

               demanded. In this chapter, you will explore the various methods to attain your
               badge. Lastly, we provide you with a resource base to make your thought leadership

               happen in Chapter 5.
