In the last nine years, NCS has produced a number of students who have submitted portfolios and
have been accepted into colleges and universities to continue their studies in the visual arts. Below is a
list of schools where students have decided to pursue their passions.

live art: fine arts combined chapel
For the ne arts chapel, middle school was given the task of live
art. Students from multiple grades combined to develop an idea
that re ected upon the birth of Christ. Sixth grade students
helped to prepare a large board for painting. They also read the
introduction to the live art during the chapel service. Students in
eighth grade helped prep and execute a mixed media
interpretation of Thomas Cole’s “The Angel Appearing to the
Shepherds” (the original of which can be viewed locally at the
Chrysler Museum of Art).
