Thus, in this systematic method of God realisation, the first and the foremost
prerequisite is that the devotee must be steady minded, peaceful, contented and serene.

This can be fulfilled only by achieving the art of beautiful living by the process of thinking
blissfully, wishing blessfully, speaking sweetly and performing actions harmoniously. In

this context, JEEVANVIDYA emphatically advises that Man must be able to handle his
worldly life with wisdom and clarifies that,

1. 'Thinking Blissfully' is like meditation of God. (ध्यान)

2. 'Wishing Blessfully' is like prayer of God. (प्रार्थना)

3. 'Speaking Pleasently' is like chanting the name of God and singing His

praises. (भजन)

4. 'Performing actions Harmoniously' is like paying homage and adoration to

God. (पूजन)
Thus, according to JEEVANVIDYA, the essence of true worship of God consists in

making honest and sincere efforts by all people to make one another happy and joyous,

whereas, making one another miserable and unhappy constitutes defiance of God. Hence
the guiding principle of JEEVANVIDYA is as follows :

"Man must behave like a human being with others, irrespective of their caste,
creed, race or religion and sincerely endeavour to make one another happy and joyous.''

This is the real ideal worship of God, the true spirit of devotion and service to
humanity. Hence JEEVANVIDYA reiterates,

"Instead of involving himself in idol worship of futile rites and rituals or laborious
austerities and penances, Man must practice ideal worship with full awareness of the

truth that every person in the universe is a living idol of God, created by God Himself.
Man's honest acceptance of this truth, will not only ensure the welfare and well being of

mankind, but it also has the potential to solve all the problems of the entire human
race.''

In brief, the art of beautiful living has great capacity, to make Man's worldly life
successful, prosperous and happy and also helps him on a large scale to make spiritual

progress for achieving the goal of realisation of God. Similarly the art of living as
enunciated by JEEVANVIDYA has a great capacity to bring about a total revolution in the

world and enables the human race to march towards its cherished goal of equality,
fraternity and tranquillity.
