the royal road to live life beautifully, gracefully and successfully. JEEVANVIDYA therefore
advocates that,
"Devotion to work, harmonious contemplation and experiencing the ever present
Divinity within, are the three important principles which bless Man with peace and
happiness.''
Futile rites and Rituals
If we look around, we will find that under the garb of worshipping God, all people
of all the religions in the world are engrossed in performing various types of rites and
rituals such as fasting, pilgrimage, penancial austerities, sacrificial practices, etc. to
gratify God. However, JEEVANVIDYA does not give importance to such rites and rituals,
because basically it is incorrect to imagine that God can be gratified by these hanky
panky rituals. The fact is that, in the vast expanse of the universe, the world we live in,
is like a small drop of water in the ocean. Whereas our world itself is an insignificant drop
of water in the vast ocean of the Cosmic Life Force, it is needless to state, that Man is
absolutely an insignificant entity in the infinite empire of God's universe. Just as in the
kingdom of Man, he gives no importance whatsoever, to the creation, existence and
destruction of insects such as bugs, ants and mosquitoes, similarly in the vast kingdom
of God, there is no importance whatsoever to the existence or extinction of human
beings. It is therefore unnecessary to clarify separately that the variety of rites and
rituals that people belonging to different religions perform, are of no importance as far as
God is concerned. Thus the rites and rituals that are prescribed to please God and to
avoid His wrath, as also the blind faiths that are fostered and embraced by people of
various religions, have no basis whatsoever either logically, intellectually or scientifically
and consequently they are of no importance in shaping Man's life. JEEVANVIDYA
observes that :-
"Scientific faith is distinct from blind faith; scientific faith is a boon while blind faith
is a curse.''
Man has miserably failed to take cognisance of this truth. If this important truth is
properly grasped, the question that arises is, "What then is the factor in Man's life which
will make him happy and successful in relation to the true concept of God?'' In this
context, Man must realise that, just as the Cosmic Life Force or God is the foundation of
this magnificient, extraordinary, infinite creation of this universe, He is also the
foundation of human life. Therefore in his own interest, Man must understand the true
concept of God and the mutual relationship that exists between him and God. He should
