US: gold colored tallion of the "Isaac Albert Research Institute" of the Jewish Chronic Disease Hospital, circa. 1958; size: 28.5 x 33.25mm; weight: 7.65g. Originally
known as the "The Daughters of Israel - Home for the Incurables" founded in 1926 and later the "Jewish Chronic Disease Hospital" (1954); Albert was its president from
1944-66 and a research institute named for him was opened there in 1958. The institute is now known as the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center of Brooklyn.

Canada > Montreal: bronze bilingual English/French 50 Cent token of the Montreal Coin Convention at the Laurentien Hotel, circa. 1948-early 1950s.
The Jewish-connection to the event may be the hotel's architect, Charles Davis Goodman, who built a number structures for Jewish businesses and institutions.
This hotel was built in 1948 and demolished in 1978.
