Graduates pin of the Israeli "National Security Academy", circa. 1960's; size: 13.5x16.5mm; weight: 1.8g. The Academy opened in 1963 to give the
upper levels of the security establishment an academic basis for understanding security issues but was closed down in July 1967, and reopened in 1977. This
is the first of two designs of the Academy's emblem.
