    Employee's emblem stick-pin of "El-Al" Israel airlines, circa. 1949-62; not maker-marked; size: 12.25 X 29mm; weight: 0.4g. This design, by Franz Kraus,
    was adopted by the airline in March 1949 as its first logo and remained the airline's emblem until a square design by Otto Troyman was adopted in 1962.

    Employee's emblem stick-pin of "El-Al" Israel airlines, circa. 1962-71; size: 18.25 X 30.5mm; weight: 0.8g. This design by Otto Troyman replaced the
    airline's original logo by Franz Kraus of March 1949 in 1962 and was itself replaced by a horizontal logo by the designer Dan Reisinger in 1972.

    Promotional pin for "El-Al Britannia", circa. 1957-62; size: 24.5mm; weight: 1.75g. El-Al began using British "Britannia" aircraft in 1957, becoming the
    first airline outside of the UK to do so and in December of that year flying the longest flight by any commercial airline on the New York/Tel Aviv route with this
    aircraft. The pin bears Al-Al's original pre-1962 logo. Pin may have been intended for pilots (or passengers?).
