the paratrooper to commemorate the Six Day War 5-10.6.67"; on reverse the emblem of the corps. Minted on what appears to be the planchet of a 1 Lira coin;
size: 30mm; weight: 12.1g.

Israel: Palmach "Negev" brigade monument commemoration medal, 1979; not artist-marked; size: 59.5mm; weight: 77.95g; minted by the Shekel Co.
(stamped on rim). Obv. Depicts emblem of the Palmach and map of the Negev brigade's operations in 1948-49, with Hebrew legend around; on rev. an image
of the monument in Beersheva and Hebrew legend with dates 1949-1979 below.

Great Britain: metal shoulder tag of the "Buffs" (Royal East Kent Regiment), circa. World War II; size: 51mm wide; weight: 6.2g. "Buffs" is the nickname
of this regiment; as our consignor collected Judaic militaria it is possible that the Jewish residents of Palestine who served in the British infantry in 1940-41 with
the Regiment, and were later called the "Palestine Buffs", also wore this "Buffs" tag initially.
