    Great Britain: bronze cap badge of the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) of the British Army, circa. World War II; weight: 9g. The bronze version of the badge was
    worn by officers on their cap and on the collar of the service dress tunic; regular members wore the gilded badge on the cap only. During the Second World War 3500
    female Jews from Palestine served in the ATS along with another 700 in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF).

    Depicts T&S settlement w/"Recruited". T&S was quick structual erection system devised by Shlomo Gur & Yochanan Ratner, enabling quick transport & erection of
    settlements, bypassing British restriction on new Jewish settlements; mobility enabled securing hold of remote regions, to strenthen Jewish settlement contiguity; fortified
    protection to inhabitants & surroundings. Pin was issued to volunteers who assisted w/ transport & erection of T&S settlements.

    Israel: Palmach emblem breast badge, c. 1948-1949; not maker-marked (Yitzhak Meir's design based on Shoshana Spector's original); weight: 0.9g. Folded metal
    clip reverse - unusual. Issued to everyone who was a Palmach member prior to 29 November 1947 during a Palmach assembly at the 'HaBima' theater commemorating
    the force's 7th anniversary, on 7 May 1948. Worn on the left pocket flap & replaced 1951 by War of Independence ribbon. The Palmach existed independently until
    November 1948 & numbered 6,500 fighters, of whom 1,500 fell in the War of Independence.

    Israel: numbered Haganah veteran's pin (440) from the "HaSharon" regional unit, circa. 1950's; not maker-marked; weight: 1.6g. A single-piece construction
    incorporating the original emblem of the Sharon force of the Hagana; has safety-pin back. The Haganah was organized on a geographic basis, so its veteran's organization
    is similarly structured around the locales where Hagana units were raised. Each veterans unit designed its own pin.
