unit), circa. 1970's; size: 19x19.5mm; weight 1.55g. This unit was established with the Mamram in 1959, and together with the IAF's engineering computer
systems unit formed the Air Force's "Ofek" technological unit in 2005.

1953 to operate Spitfire aircraft; disbanded in 1956 it was reformed and disbanded a few more times in the 1960's until reformed permanently in 1971 under
the command of the famed pilot, Yiftach Spector.
