    Tunic badge of the elite naval "underwater missions unit" (Unit 707 - "Yaltam") with twin screws on reverse, circa. 1970's; size (pin): 7.55 x 3.05cm;
    weight: 15.55g; scalloped reverse - not maker-marked. The unit was formed in the 1960's, merged with the elite "Floatilla 13" in the 1970's and detatched
    again as an independant unit in 1981.

    Tunic pin of the IDF's "Training Base 4" ("Bahad 4"), circa. 1970's; size: 1.85 x 2.5cm; weight: 2.15g; not maker-marked. Base 4 served as the IDF's
    main infantry basic-training camp, and was located from 1949-67 in Tzrifin (Sarafand) until it moved to Beit El. The original emblem was a tall ancient jug, and
    this emblem was probably adopted around the time that Chief of Staff Rafael Eitan awarded it its own unique emblem.

    Medal of appreciation issued by the IAF's 118th "Nocturnal Birds of Prey" rescue and transport Squadron to Brigadier General Z. Kantor, in bronze, circa. 1980's;
    size: 39mm; weight: 27.2g. Obverse depicts the Squadron's emblem with English legend "Big Things are Done Secretly | Night Birds"; reverse: Hebrew legend "Squadron
    118 Air Force" with the dedication etched below. Formed in 1970; the awardee may be Zvi Kanor (Kantor), a former combat pilot and commander of Tel Nof base
    (1987-90) where this unit is based.
