Periwinkle often flew into the nearby
neighborhood looking for a safer place to
live. Once she saw a garden that had
beautiful flowers and birdbaths and while she
was there she had seen hummingbirds.

Fairies have special relationships with
hummingbirds. Many people believe that they
speak the same language.

Periwinkle hoped that she might find that
garden again.
