Life in the Wild
Before Periwinkle, the tiny fairy, came to
Shannon’s yard, she had been living in a tall
pine tree at the edge of the woods.
There were things that she liked about the
woods, but there were many dangers.
Raptors, like hawks and owls, were always
trying to catch fairies, and sometimes they
did.
