A Signal from Another Planet

A small blip on the graph of a Russian radio-telescope is exciting the internet in recent days. In May
last year the telescope received a signal near the planet HD164595 in the Hercules constellation.
Theoretically, the signal could be of a radio transmission that may be coming from a distant
civilization. Up until now the Russians kept this a secret, but next month they'll talk about the signal
for the first time at a conference for searching life outside Earth. On a planet ninety lightyears away
from us, there may be someone who wants to talk.
