From Volleyball to Netball, to League of Legends and then Pool. St Margaret’s was involved in quite a few sporting events this year. With a large amount of participation a solid effort, and great results were earned overall. From games being played anywhere from 8 in the morning to even 10pm. The commitment and dedication shown by our members was nothing shy of inspiring. Though there were some upsets and some events we couldn’t take part in, I must say that I’m in awe of what this college has achieved in terms of sports. For a college that hasn’t been involved in intercollege sport for a long time we’ve defiantly picked up the baton and shown others we’re a force to be reckoned with whether its on a court or a field. Ski Trip was personally my highlight for the year with months of planning and preparation having taken place to ensure a smooth adventure. The laughs, smiles and frequent roasts makes all the effort worth it. (See separate page for more details about the Ski Trip). But no means are we a super elite college in terms of sport, but we’ll be known for laying it all out on the playing field. Would do it all again.
