Living at St Margs is probably one of the highlights of my 2018. Being an exec, might just be the highlight of the highlight. Having the privilege to become the treasurer has been a wonderful adventure for me. It has truly made me a
much more complete person.
Treasurer for me was definitely an exciting role. Think about it, pretty much every single penny exec spends has to be approved by you. You’re the one making money decisions and you are the one who balances the execs finances for the entire year...so much
responsibility. But isn’t that cool?
At the beginning I thought I was going to struggle a bit fitting into the exec team. I thought my personality would clash with most people, and I might end up working by myself this entire year. However, ever since the first Strength-Finders training, we truly became not only a team but a family, a family which I’m going to
miss for the rest of my life.
It has been a pleasure working among my fellow execs. It has also been a pleasure living at St Margs, getting to know all these people, it has been an honour to live with all of you, and to have you by my side. I was lucky enough to meet every single one of you, and every single one of you have made my
2018 so much better.
Hope you all have a wonderful future ahead of you, and although 2018 is coming to an end, the
memory of it will not.
