With his songs “No Puedo Olvidarla” and “Tu Amor o tu Desprecio,” Marco Antonio Solis
(currently on his “El Buki” solo tour) greeted the sold-out crowd that was mainly comprised of a
younger audience, accompanied by their parents or grandparents. “Let us thank the Heavenly
Father for this moment. We are here for a reason. There is nothing like being present. Today
with technology, what I value most is presence,” the Mexican singer said.

Wearing black rock and roll pants and a blue silk blazer jacket, Marco Antonio Solis continued
to sing songs such as “No Puedo Olvidarla,” “Dios Bendiga Nuestro Amor,” and fan-favorites
from Los Bukis’ such as “Morenita” and “Y Ahora Te Vas.” He mentioned during his show that
his studies are from the street. He loves music and lyrics, and it’s truly a beautiful career blessed
by the grace of God.

Each song was greeted by cheers of raucously loud applause. All in all, it seemed clear
that Marco Antonio Solís gave his audience exactly what they wanted.

He also mentioned that this evening was dedicated to “jovenes romanticos” (young romantics)
and “cincuentones” (50-year-olds). Marco Antonio Solís performed an almost three-hour-long
concert geared toward every generation. His set list was not only filled with heartfelt ballads, but
also featured some hip-shaking dancing songs. I may never be to experience this a once-in-a-
lifetime show again, so I am truly grateful that I got to witness it tonight.
