KP: How would you describe your music?

FSF: We are definitely a hard rock band, but we have a lot of metal and punk influences as well. I
think we are hard to describe because musically we are somewhere in middle of hard rock and
metal. If you are more into rock and hear songs like ‘Angry Boy’ or ‘Speechless America’ you might
consider us more of a metal band. And if you are more into metal and hear songs like ‘Faster’ and
‘Fire Sets Fire,’ you might think we are more of a rock band. We cruise somewhere right in the middle
and we really like that.

KP: Share a bit about the songwriting process. Is it a collaborative effort?

FSF: Songwriting for us is very collaborative. Typically, I come in with ideas for songs and will show
the guys what I am thinking. Then everybody adds their mojo to them and we usually come away
with some pretty great songs. Songs that we typically keep are completely natural and not forced at
all. If somebody is not feeling an idea and it becomes labor then we usually just abandon it and move
on to something else fresh that inspires us.
