MW: We are soon to come out of lockdown again. What are your plans
for when we get the green light and go back to some sort of
normality?

FV: Really looking forward to live performances again. I'm excited to link
up with all my band members and play all the new music we've been
working on. I've got some studio sessions booked in Marseille which I can't
wait to get back to. I'm just ready and waiting to hit the ground running.

MW: Who will you be recording with in Marseille?

FV: I'll be recording with musician, DJ, and producer Labo Klandestino,
who I've worked with previously recording the track 'Take It Easy,' which
also features K.O.G. The track was well received in France, getting lots of
airplay…and I've performed some amazing live stage shows in Marseille
with Labo. I'm also looking forward to recording with Marseille based artists
Cynthia Bailly (BAHY), an amazing soulful vocalist, and artists K-Méléon
Mc and Pak DJ'een from the hip hop group The Crush.

MW: You've travelled all over Europe playing festivals. Where is your
favourite place to play? Where are you best received? Is there any
particular city you'd like to play in which you haven't been to yet?

FV: It's been a blessing to travel and play around Europe. It’s hard to say
where we are best received, as the vibes are just great every time
everywhere. But I do love France in particular. There seems to be a strong
connection with the music and the people. We've had some memorable
moments in Belle ile en Mer, Lagrasse, Paris, Millau, Bordeaux, and
Marseille. I've made a lot of new friends in France. There are so many
places that I would love to play…Barcelona and Berlin or further afield like
Tokyo, Japan, São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Lagos, Nigeria, or back
home in Kingston, Jamaica.
