BANKS released her first and second EP albums in
2013 when the track “Waiting Game” was picked up
by Victoria’s Secret for their holiday campaign. Her
exposure on the national television commercial led to
an invite to be a featured performer at Coachella 2014.
BANKS’ debut album Goddess was released in 2014,
peaking at #48 on Billboard’s Rock Digital Songs
chart. BANKS has since released three more albums:
The Altar (2016), III (2019), and Serpentina (2002).

BANKS’ music is often described as alternative pop
with hints of R&B. She writes about the highs and lows
and beginning and ends of relationships, creating vivid
imagery of scenarios every listener has been through
at one point or another in their life. The vulnerability in
her lyrics make listeners feel connected and
understood. The rhythmic beats make it impossible to
listen to a song once without immediately pressing
“repeat.”
