“She Sh!t The Bed”

Every once in a while, I check back to artist and bands that I have worked
with in the past. This time, I revisited my friend, Robby Lochner
(https://online.flipbuilder.com/dxlv/sxza/) to see what he is up to these
days. Well, he has a new project…D.I.L.F. USA. Right off the bat, I loved
the Christmas song/video that was all over social media. I then
researched band members and connected with singer of D.I.L.F. USA,
Jesse Blaze. We hit it off right away on Instagram, then we moved on to
phone calls and text. Jesse is incredibly clever and a smart
businessman. I let him know that I loved D.I.L.F. USA, so he invited me
to Hermosa Beach for their next show. I checked my schedule and was
able to make it work. I managed to make it from Arizona to Hermosa
Saloon for the show and on the road back to Arizona right after…all in 1
1/2 days! During that short span, I was able to shoot the band appearing
live and do a super quick promo shoot. On stage, the band is
immaculately tight when performing. Off stage, they were way too funny!

I’ve known Robby for many years. It was such a treat to meet Jesse and
the rest of the band members. The beauty of this band is they for sure
don’t take themselves too seriously. The band performed many of their
favorite songs and made them their own -- and their originals need to be
on the radio. Awesome rock songs! Hermosa Saloon is a small venue,
and it was massively packed with at least 50 to 75 to maybe 100 hot
sweaty bodies. No stage, but for sure, lots of energy and the opportunity
for good times. Although Jesse and Robby and I had long conversations
before and after the show, here is a quick conversation I had with Jesse
a week after the show.
