MH: Anything crazy during your shows…band or audience?
JB.: The craziest thing so far has just been the response from people! D.I.L.F. USA has a small but growing
group of supporters who come to every show and are always dressed up in custom, light-up costumes that
they made themselves inspired by the band! How encouraging is that? Plus, we've been blessed with a
huge outpouring of support from a ton of industry pros that has now actually inspired a segment of our live
performances called ‘D.I.L.F. on D.I.L.F.’ where we bring up a famous player and dub them our ‘D.I.L.F. of
HONOR’ or ‘Honorary D.I.L.F.’ to play a couple songs with the band. Then we present them with a pretty
sash and crown, interview them, and play a version of a game we like to call ‘Fuck! Marry! Kill! D.I.L.F.
Edition!’ Our first ‘D.I.L.F. of HONOR’ was the guitarist from Armored Saint, Phil Sandoval. My good friend
Neil Turbin, formerly of Anthrax, is the next one. We've basically got a waiting list of professional friends
who wanna be a part of the great time we have everywhere we go. So, that too has been really inspiring.
MH: What's the plan for the band? Anything in the near future?
JB. Lots of gigs! And a ton of fun music videos! We've been writing, practicing, and adding a bunch of cool
new things into our set, not to mention, printing our own custom merchandise! Once we've released an
album’s worth of singles, we'll collect them all and release a full-length record.
