In my humble opinion, any one of the five bands would have been a great choice to represent the UK, proving that there
is great talent to be enjoyed for many years to come – and also that the genre of the blues both lives and thrives in the
UK. I am thrilled that I made the long journey north to this city and was able to experience the ambiance and history of
The Cavern Club and all of these talented competitors. Best of luck to LaVendore Rogue in 2018 in Memphis at the
International Blues Challenge, and Hell, Norway with the European Blues Challenge!
