TB: What is the group’s writing process? Is it a group effort does one or two individuals mainly
do the writing?

TH: There isn't a rigid structure; instead, it's a fluid collaboration that allows for the fusion of individual
creativity. The Heels typically partner with one or two additional co-writers. Everyone shares ideas,
while singing harmonies, experimenting with melody ideas, and equally contributing. Sometimes, one
or two members may take the lead in crafting lyrics or melodies, but the entire group contributes to
refining and shaping the final composition.

TB: Of all the songs in your set list, which one is your favor to perform and why?

TH: Choosing a favorite song from our set list is a tough task! Our sets are always changing and reflect
the mood and theme of the event. However, if we had to pick one at the moment, we would say ‘John-
Wayne-ing’ holds a special place. The energy, the whistling melody, the emotions it evokes, and the
connection it establishes with the audience make it a standout moment in our performances. Each time
we bring ‘John Wayne-ing’ to life on stage the crowd's response makes it a truly unforgettable
experience.

TB: What can fans of The Heels look forward to in the second half of 2024?

TH: In the second half of 2024, fans of The Heels can anticipate an exciting array of new experiences
and musical offerings. We're gearing up for more electrifying performances in both Canada and the
USA. With a recent move to Nashville, Tennessee, we are excited to share a home and dive into our
music career full time, and overtime considering we are living together. In Canada through the
pandemic, we went from living on the same street to moving hours and hours away from each other in
different cities. And now we are living in ‘Music City’ since February 13, 2024, inspired, writing new
music daily, jamming and practicing new instruments, and perfecting our live show production and
looking to elevate our band and our brand to the next level to compete on a worldwide stage and
continue to expand our artistry as a collective.
