A few more cherished memories included riding public
transportations, like jeepneys or tricycles, where Air
Supply songs are being played or our neighbor’s
karaoke machine on high volume during our town’s
fiesta, where, of course, Air Supply songs are highly
requested. From televised singing contests, movies,
commercials, online video trends, and now memes on
the internet, Air Supply songs are definitely everyone’s
favorite.
Being able to cover one of their shows for their “The
Lost In Love Tour 2022” was such a nostalgic
experience. Best friends since 1975, Graham Russell
and Russell Hitchcock, along with the band, gave such
an outstanding and memorable performance!
The show gave me constant chills just listening to the
distinct voice of Russell Hitchcock -- he never missed
a note. He possesses the same powerful voice I heard
on the radio decades ago when I was still a kid.
Graham Russell’s iconic guitar parts remained smooth
and melodic as always and he still has that same
contagious energy today when he performs on the
stage.
