working together. They both
dated singer Erik Rubin in the
early nineties, and it led to a
public conflict. Like Rap artists,
Alejandra Guzmán 1991
single "Hey Güera" was a punch
at the blonde-haired Paulina
Rubio (“Güera" is slang for
blonde woman). And Paulina
Rubio’s debut single "Mio"
(“Mine") has long been gossiped
to be a response to "Hey Güera."
The Perrisimas Tour, plays into
that energy. Alejandra Guzmán
said to the audience that she
believes people "need a little bit
of pepper." And guessing by the
crowd response, she is right.
