I had the honor of social distancing and interviewing Joe Flynt of Atlanta-based rockers,

Asphalt Valentine, on June 3 . And as you will read, we covered a variety of topics. But music,
ahhhhh, the music is the torch that burns brightest and lights our way down the twisted road
home.
Jere Perry: Is everything calming down in Atlanta?
Joe Flynt: Well, as far as the protests go, it was in the news and everything seems much more
peaceful now. I think most of that has gotten a lot better, not as chaotic. I thought we were
starting to get back to a little normalcy (from the COVID-19 pandemic), and all of this explodes.
It’s like we just can’t seem to win. But it will get better.
