PJ: (con’t) In March of 2020, I was on another solo tour called ‘4 More Legs.’ I'm big into
raising voices for animals in shelters as well, so I named this tour after our latest adoption,
Caesar. All of my dogs are rescue dogs. As my life's mission is still to escape winter, I tour
in Arizona each year. I was on Facebook one night while in Yuma and saw Ryan Chrys &
The Rough Cuts playing in Tucson a night after one of my gigs there. I messaged Ryan and
told him I'd love to see them while we were both in the same city, but probably couldn't make
their show. He said, 'Come open for us!' And that was the night I met you at Thunder Brewing!
As far as crazy stories, I haven't had a chance to hang with the band off stage as we are
always on a tight tour schedule when we see each other. But judging by how fun they are, I
think someday when we get to hang out in Colorado together…crazy stories and great music
             WILL be made!

MH: I've read that you have performed with some top-notched artists in the past. What
has been the best performance of your career so far?

PJ: I have no idea which performance would be 'my best.’ I try to make them ALL my best!
Some are just more fun than others. I have opened for The Little River Band. THAT was an
epic night! I did get to party on their tour bus after the show and had them sign my guitar. I
went from opening act to 'I need autographs and photos!' really quick! That band has been
playing live since before I was born, and there I was, singing my songs to open for them and
sitting there, drinking wine on their tour bus! I've also opened for Good Ol' Boyz, Bubba
Sparxxx, Devon Wade, Alyssa Jacey, and more. It's such a great experience opening the
             stage for such talented people.

MH: How do you cope with being away from home for long periods? Did you bring any
family with you on tour with you?

PJ: Cope? I was born to live on the road! When I'm on the road, my soul IS home. I take my
dog Bella everywhere. She is my head of security, partner in crime, and copilot. ‘The 4 More
Legs Tour,’ I took both dogs, which was total chaos! Caesar is a new adoption and was way
too hard for me to handle on my own. Next time, he will stay home with his daddy! My man
has flown to 3 states to come visit me while I'm on tour! As an artist, I thoroughly enjoy being
alone. I like solo road trips, camping, dingy hotels that still have keys, and band houses that
bars put you up in. Bella and I have been to 11 states together in these past 3 years and it's
been incredible. We spend our days hiking, going to National Parks, taking photos, hitting up
hot springs, finding cool swimming holes, and just being present in life and at one with nature.
I've invested in an RV for this last tour and traveling in my own little home on wheels is
everything I ever dreamed it would be!
