Lesson 2 Reflection 12 August 2019
The lesson was productive, I was happy because for the first time, I was able to finish all the content that I had planned
to teach for this lesson. The participation of the learners was not as in the other two previous lessons. However that did
not surprise me because in the past two lessons, it was a revision of the work they covered in grade 10, and today
they were introduced to something new, so their participation was not as much as in the past. I was able to achieve
all the objectives, and I was happy because a great number of learners were able to get correct answers in the class
activity I gave to them and even to those who made silly mistakes they promised to do well on the home activity and
to also study hard to prepare for the upcoming test.
Again, learners were still struggling with understanding how potential difference differs from current and how this two
relate to the resistance. But with the motivation sessions we were already having, learners were more positive towards
physical science and even a few learners who told me that the subject was hard, they approached me after the
lesson said “Physics is actually FUN”
What did not work was the simulation I prepared for the learners, as the technology was against me.
