With several wins, plus some frustrating marginal defeats, in early October the LMC team re-entered the annual La Manga Club Resort T20 Tournament. The squad'sfast-improving cricket skillsand self-belief, making thisan easy decision.

It's worth noting that 50% of the Club's players were under the age of 21.

The season didn't end there! La Manga Cricket Club was invited take part in a T20 Tournament held at the Cartama Oval outside Malaga between the 31st October & 2nd November. Five clubs were invited to take part in the competition, two from the UK (one of them being Hackney Cricket Club from London) and LMC's old rivals Madrid Cricket
Club. Also taking part were Crusaders CC from Malaga and Bocca CC, a touring side from the United Kingdom.
The tournament was played over three days and attracted teams from Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales, Cardiff CC, Stansted CC, the South West Banditsand Moreton Colliery, Derbyshire.
La Manga Cricket Club set about its task by winning hard-fought games on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday morning it played a 'must-win match' against Moreton Colliery from Derbyshire. A convincing win saw the team go into the final against South West Bandits. This touring side had previously visited La Manga Club resort and were acknowledged strong contenders for thisyear'strophy.
