Two articles follow, Women in Lockdown and Martha Stog - 100 Years Old, 13th July 2020, which exemplify the spirit of La Manga Club owners through the coronavirus pandemic. They are a celebration of what makes the resort special, and how we support each other in timesof need.
Other articles feature golf, cricket, cycling and scuba-diving, just a few of the sports that define La Manga Club, and which are part of itsDNA.
As a gesture to the companies who booked advertising space in LA CALA magazine (now to be published in March 2021) during the pandemic, for this issue of the General Community newsletter only, we are breaking with our ?no commercial content? rule and including their advertisements; plus a directory of LMC businesses. Please support them all, particularly the resort businesses, as without them many of the facilitiesthat ownersenjoy all year round would not be open.
Finally, as we emerge from the coronavirus pandemic I hope that the unity which emerged through the lockdown and also defined the Club in its formative years will remain going forward. Let?s go on to reafirm its reputation as one the world?s great sport and leisure resorts, as well as a great place to live.
