7) Revamping of the tutorial system undertaken so as to offer more systematic and vibrant tutorial system towards a better
learning, character building and teaching experience.
8) Research Culture strengthened. Many face-to-face/online seminars/conferences/workshops organized to promote research
generating impact on the society. Two new research chairs established; and graduate rooms are revamped to facilitate senior
researchers. GCU Press established to provide a forum to students and faculty to publish high quality research.
9) Enhancing intake of Foreign Students via steps like establishing a new Office of International Students. Increased intake of
domestic students for the best interests of an increasing number of aspiring students to become Ravians.
10) New health and well-being centre established. Biometric attendance of intermediate students introduced to enhance
attendance. Better access to the VC granted by open-door events for students and staff. Strengthened Anti-harassment
Policies/Practices.
11) New Website and New Prospectus introduced in view of the best top university practices.
12) Measures taken towards establishing Drug Free Campus makes first-of-its-kind commitment in a public sector university. The
Chancellor and Federal Ministers facilitates this initiative.
My team at GCU Lahore worked beyond the call of their duty and beyond our capacities to render services during the pandemic of
coronavirus. We offered a platform for mental health helpline; make available buildings for the Quarantine Centre and Field Hospital
and supplied disinfectants to hospitals all across Punjab. The creative and intellectual apparatuses of the GCU have been well
engaged in order to make GCU the topmost educational institution of the country. We are now committing ourselves to make 2021
one of the best years for the GCU Lahore.
